This is an end-grain cutting board/countertop art in the shape of an American flag. The American flag is made of cherry, maple, and walnut. The stars are inlaid into end-grain walnut with end grain hard maple as the stars while the stripes are made of end-grain cherry and end-grain hard maple. The cutting board is 11.75 inches wide by 22 inches long and 1.5 inches thick. The cutting surface and the juice grove is located on the back so the board can be left out on the countertop with the American flag side up and it can be displayed without any cut marks. This product is handmade in the good old U.S.A.
All of our cutting boards are constructed with materials that have been FDA approved for food contact. The board is finished with mineral oil which will need to be reapplied three times a year to keep it well maintained.
